This mare has been a great broodmare for me but have decided to downsize so she is for sale. She is sound to breed and ride. She was ridden between foals on trails and in the arena but not much. She was being shown in open shows when I bought her as a 5 yr old. She does prefer women, does not like spurs or a lounge whip, but she you don't need them, because she lounges without it, and pick up her leads with just leg pressure. She was not bothered in the arena by the other horses passing or coming at her at all. She lowers her head and pivets with leg pressure, knows spur stop, did pivets in showmanship like a pro, and jogged beside Jen in the showmanship like she had been doing it for years. She even picked up 3 Horsemanship points. She worked great in a bosel, too. You would not have known it was her first show. She was so nice I hate to sell her now. This filly had an injury to her rt front fetlock as a weanling and has a knot on it. She is NOT lame on it, and it doesn't bother her. She runs and plays with no indication it bothers her and barely noticable in photos.
